We are thrilled to share the joy of our wedding with you. It means so much to celebrate this special moment in Caracas with our family and friends. Thank you for the effort, time, and travel it takes to be with us. Your presence is our greatest gift.
More than 10 years after we first met at a summer camp in Boulder, life brought us back together. We reunited in Miami, the city we now call home, and discovered that some stories are meant to come full circle.
Villa Planchart is a masterpiece of mid-century modernist architecture located in Caracas, Venezuela. Designed in the 1950s by the renowned Italian architect Gio Ponti for the art collectors Armando and Anala Planchart, the villa is celebrated for its clean, geometric lines, brilliant use of natural light, and seamless integration with the surrounding landscape.
Perched on a hill overlooking the Caracas valley, it was envisioned not just as a residence, but as a total work of art, where Ponti meticulously detailed everything from the floating roof structure to the interior furniture, vibrant mosaic tiles, and custom fixtures. Today, it stands as a beautifully preserved cultural monument and an architectural icon of Venezuela’s golden modern era.
